Chowan Arts Council
Founded in 1976 at Edenton, the Council involves the entire Chowan County community and many surrounding areas as the forum for the arts.
It is open, free admission, Mondays through Saturdays between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm. The gallery always has an eclectic exhibit of regional art and its Gift Shop features fantastic bargains of high quality art. From sculpture to long-leaf pine bowls, to fine watercolors and oil paintings, wood turnings and photography by well-known artist and students, you will find something to tickle your fancy. It also has a nice collection of children's items.
